If you don't see a clear path for what you want, sometimes you have to make it for yourself - Mindy Kaling

There is something about Mindy Kaling that is just so darn appealing. Perhaps it's her confidence. Perhaps it's her humour. Perhaps it's her outlook on life. Or maybe, it's a mixture of all those things. Whatever it is, I absolutely adore her. 

This quote spoke to me in so many ways. It exudes confidence and motivation and is perfect for this time of the year. As the year comes to an end, and we start thinking about the coming year, it is important to remember our intentions and desires. Part of this means acknowledging that what we want may not always come easily. In fact, it likely won't come easily. It's all part of the package. And it's all part of what makes it worth it. Sometimes a clear path from A to B isn't all that exciting. Although we may think that it is what we want, usually once we get there, we realize that the true gem was in the journey itself.

So if you don't see a clear path, fret not. You are in for a wild ride. One that will involve you forging your own path and learning a heck of a lot along the way. Don't be afraid to be different. Don't be afraid to do it your own way. Whatever it is you want to do or achieve, trust yourself and follow your intuition. It will never fail you.
